SQE1 is delivered through Pearson VUE test centres. Being on the SRA's current list of cities is not a guarantee of a seat in that city for a specific sitting, seat availability only becomes visible once booking opens, and international seats tend to go quickly.
As of our last check, countries with an SQE1 test centre included Australia, Austria, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
A few countries with large numbers of SQE candidates are not currently on that list, Nigeria and Pakistan among them. Candidates from Nigeria typically travel to Johannesburg, Pretoria, or Cairo. Candidates from Pakistan typically travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Riyadh. India is geographically closer for Pakistani candidates, but travel between the two countries can be difficult, so check the visa rules before booking.
